You know, I’m the son of one federal employee and a grandson of another and I am a prospective one myself but that’s bullshit especially for a Congressman like Ryan who has a ton of vacation days.

The thing is, if someone asked me: “who works harder, a congressperson or a farm laborer?” my answer would be: “I don’t know, let’s take a look at what those individual people actually do”.

But the standard Redstate party line is that Washington politicians don’t know the meaning of true work, are bad because they are cut off from the real world of honest (white) Americans, yadda yadda yadda. So it’s always funny when one of their writers really gets the bit between their teeth and ends up arguing for the precise opposite of what they usually go with.
