I really want to compile all the ways tha anti-Semitism operates in the background of all this wingnut shit. JBS materials, Cultural Marxism/Bolshevism, Christian supersession and the image of Jews as Christ-killers, the dozens of variations on tropes from the Protocols.

Hell, track most of the conspiracy thinking that dominates the wingnuts and alt-right, you scratch an earlier conspiracy theory about Jews.

This wave of harassment shouldn’t be surprising. Old Christian resentment of Jews never really went away, it merely got drowned out by the triumphalism over being the good guys that beat the Nazis and ended the Holocaust. New conspiracy oriented anti-Semites are simply following the arc of modern conspiracy materials, back-tracing to the earlier versions where the Jews were the explicit cause.
