Politico is reporting that Christie is only being considered for AG because two other candidates have turned the job down (they don’t name who, although Labor Sec Alex Acosta said he’d only accept the job once Mueller is done with his report). They’re also saying Trump’s in no hurry to fill the job.

The smart people are not going to chance getting between Trump and Mueller.
