NYC, City of Cockroaches? When I lived there for a brief period in 1981, someone told me there wasn’t a bldg in the city that didn’t have cockroaches.

If you live in a city, though, you are probably walking on top of rat colonies. You just don’t see them. My son told me there were huge rats living under the streets and pavements of downtown Charlotte that became exposed as they erected many of the recent skyscrapers.
