Clerk rides across state in support of colleague
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) Casey County Clerk Casey Davis wants a colleague to know she does not stand alone.
Davis says he decided to embark on bike ride from Pikeville to Paducah to let everyone know Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis does not deserve to be punished.

Clerk Casey Davis says he feels like Christians are being persecuted. Since the same-sex marriage ruling in June his office has also refused to issue marriage licenses.
Davis plans on riding 40 miles a day. He hopes to make it to West Liberty by the end of Thursday. Davis called the Rowan County clerk Wednesday to tell her about his plans and says she began to cry.
