You Fins make the deadliest and most prolific snipers in the history of warfare, and you have a language that has baffled linguists taxonomic charts for years.

Those two things in themselves are plenty to be proud of.

As to snipers, us Finns have always been big on economy of force in our armed forces in our barely 1-century existence.

And don’t get me started on the language, man, like you know that adage about exploding wingnut heads? Our language can make wingnuts heads go supercritical *muhahaha*

Another thing I think all Finns are proud of is maintaining our national cohesion despite diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds. Like, there’s Finnish Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Protestant, Catholic religion (not to mention the various pentecostal groups). There is Russian, Swedish, Finnish, Sapm and Karelian as to language. There is Tatars, Swedish, Sapmi, Russian, Karelians and Finns in terms of ethnic minorities.
And we’re all Finns first and foremost. That’s one of our important lessons from WWII, how much being divided among ourselves cost us.

Well, there is this joke about how people in the region drink their vodka…

Seriously tho, I think many Finns may seem to drink a lot, but are really drinking in moderation over time instead of a lot over time. There are exceptions tho.
