Yeah- we as a culture. It starts somewhere. Women didn’t always have rights to property or suffrage. It starts somewhere, and grows. Sadly- the so-called feminist movement undermined real feminism and respect for women, but we don’t need them. You and I can lead by example and discuss this issue with others.

Just the other night, a number of Lizards and I had a nice conversation on a thread about feminism and female misogyny. It was nice for me, because I had others who were sympathetic about the issue, but one thing I said was I didn’t think female misogyny was going to get any better until women start to confront just how misogynistic we ourselves can be. Once women collectively decide something needs to change- you know it’s going to happen. We don’t admit this about ourselves- so it’s not going to change at this time.
