Look, Jason Calacanis is an internet bomb-thrower. He likes to make bold, controversial statements to get attention to his ventures, like the (now-shuttered) alternative search engine/purported competitor to Google called Mahalo. He managed to get a buttload of $$ out of YouTube to come up with “high-value” content for their channel, but since that coinage ran out, he’s been kinda stuck flopping around, looking for his next Big Score.

If you’ve been watching the episodes of Silicon Valley - Jason is the investor-douche who scored with Radio On Internet back when idiots thought everything was The Next AOL, banked a bunch of the money, and thinks that he’s a super-genius.

In all fairness, Jason, while an obnoxious douche who isn’t as smart as he & his ass-licking flunkies all tell him he is … is not on the same scale as CCJ. He isn’t actively trying to hurt people because they are black, gay, female, or object to, oh, say, arming teachers in classrooms because guns and shut up.
