I’ve been doing some research on Ted Cruz, and I think he’s really, honestly a raving religious fanatic. I don’t think it’s pandering, or an act for the rubes. He’s been steeped in this culture his entire life.

Traumatized by his parent’s separation and his father’s problems, Ted has found an escape in religion.

This is an old tune.

Sadly, being moral has little to do with such religion, though the true believers think it does.
