True I had forgotten that, but the heavy designation refers to the plane weight for Info on following inbound flights due to wake turbulence. (see, I did learn a thing or two being a Navy air traffic controller LOL)

It can also be used by Cessna 150 pilots if the ATC controllers are having a light day and can appreciate a joke.
