The majority of Americans didn’t want this. We voted for Hillary Clinton (including a majority of active duty personnel according to exit polls).

We are the victims of an outdated electoral system to select a president, where the minority candidate can win.

It is dangerous to focus too much on the electoral college and the presidency. Congress and a majority of the states being under Republican control is also a major problem.
