Everyone except for you and the Bobby Jindals of the country understands the need for an increase in the minimum wage. There are too many people out there who will continue to fuck their employees because the law lets them - WalMart included - which is why WalMart wants the feds to force them to go to 10.10 an hour.

Without a mandated minimum, we accidentally create a system that “rewards the worst” through competitive advantage. That’s why OSHA was created—the responsible employers would fall victim to those who refused the expense of a safe workplace.
