Guinea pigs are great. We had one when I was a kid and my mother used to feed her a carrot every day when my mother got home from work. Eventually, the guinea pig learned to recognize the sound of my mom’s car’s engine, and would start “wheeking” in excitement when my mother pulled into the driveway.
