I’m actually thinking of starting up an employment agency specifically geared for those on the autism spectrum. I’ve worked with a lot of people on the autism spectrum— I mean, had them as co-workers— and while they can be goddamn annoying, so can normal humans. But the discrimination against autists— and really, the failure to perceive the value in the significantly different perspective that they bring— is really shameful.

I was going to apply for a grant this year to kickstart the program, but I got too busy with my real work.
