It looks to me the word was used intentionally to illicit a response. I have no clue why they thought the response would be helpful to our relations or the peace process. It looks like very stupid and counterproductive diplomacy.

He’s just saying that a one state solution would lead to an apartheid state. Also. That’s not really the full context either. He could be responding to the suggestion of a one state solution. Basically, we need to listen to the whole thing. Or read the whole thing. What’s he responding to?
