The Republican amendment is “going to go down” and we’re on to final passage. I don’t even know what the amendment was about; it’s enough to know that it was sponsored by Republicans, apparently, and that was enough.

This bill is a monumental folly. Any business requiring a lot of cheap energy to run will be forced to move operations to regions which aren’t nationally suicidal, like Russia, China, and India.
