Way back when, I was required to attend counter-intelligence briefings, which are needed because there have always been, and always will be, people who will sell secrets for one reason or another. At the time we were more concerned about the French and Israelis than the Russians (who were watched continuously anyway), as the former two nations were noted for their commercial espionage.
