My gut feeling is that President Obama will win re-election; the Senate will stay in the hands of the Democratic Party, and the House Republican, though perhaps slightly diminished.

With Obama, it was the same gut feeling I had when saw Clinton being sworn-in for the first time….”He’s a two-termer.” It’s just a gut feeling, instinct.

Romney’s been running for President since 2007. So this is his turn; though the economy is hardly doing well, for whatever reason I can’t for the life figure out, he’s not doing as well as he should be, in theory. He can’t seem to break 50% nationally, thus far at least. Of course, the debates are coming up, and it is possible that things may change; I never say never when it comes to politics.
