I agree with that. That’s why I used the quotes on ‘Anti-Jihadism’ . I’m talking about the attitudes personified by the likes of Spencer, Geller, etc that try to co-opt people’s natural and absolutely reasonable opposition to jihadism into a crusade against Islam itself. Which is what this guys book quite clearly sets out to do.

“Islam itself” is, however, in serious need of a smackdown in the same way that overweening Christianity got one at the hands of the secular world.

Just yesterday, two separate Muslim cab drivers (one going, one coming back from my medical appointment) tried to refuse me taxi service because of my service dog. I wasn’t having any and told them I would instantly report their bearded asses to the authorities.

They knuckled, and I had interesting conversations with both.

In Minneapolis, it took a class-action suit by blind people to rectify the situation.
