D_F, you’re intelligent and capable, you’ll do OK. Before you consider becoming a teacher, consider how comfortable you are in front of groups and how well you can communicate to a diverse group of people. If you are comfortable in that environment, your love of history would do you well in teaching. You might also think about writing a book over the next few years.
