I shouldn’t have to carry a gun to shul (or church or school, or a movie theater, or anywhere else). It’s the politics of fear to think that this is normal.

The US is only country on planet where this kind of violence occurs regularly that isn’t a war zone. It’s like clockwork.

And Trump and the GOP refuse to stop it because they’re beholden to the compromised NRA.

Pretty sure the Orthodox CAN’T carry a gun on Sabbath. They can’t even carry house keys or cash. (there’s a few Orthodox in my building; they walk downstairs on Saturday mornings, the doorman holds their keys while they’re out for services and pushes elevator buttons for them when they’re ready to go home.)
