Trump knows exactly nothing outside of his personal experience, so when one of his hotels needs additional staff in a hurry he just goes to the temp agency. He thinks this is how you get the top experts working for you too. It’s just the same as calling the temp agency and saying you need another 20 housekeepers for the next 3 days. And nobody will tell him anything different.

Which fires in nicely with his “we’ll get the pointy- headed boffins when we need them, why pay to have them sir around doing ‘nothing’?”
