I’m thinking that he’s a Republican and Republicans cannot be trusted. Period, full stop.

One thing to remember about Garland is that he’s a pretty conservative guy. He’s not a Federalist Society hack, but many of his decisions were considered right-leaning while he was a judge, and that was the reason Obama chose him for the Supreme Court in 2016.

He’s a good man, but right now, he’s the wrong man for DOJ.
