Well, I feel dumb. The hot water heater breaker was tripped, which I did not see when I looked at it. The plumber reset the breaker. That will be $316.

The water is heating now.

Breakers trip for a reason, though. Any ideas from the plumber? Could be the breaker itself, of course, if it’s old.
