The thing is, that’s a shitty way to exist. That’s what he had at Oak Park Heights, Minnesota’s state supermax facility. While it functioned as a safety measure for him while he was there, he doesn’t deserve that; no one does.

Oh, I completely agree. But he likely wouldn’t have gotten shivved if he had been in a Fed Supermax facility.
