Ryan’s selection means that the R’s are going to talk about three things. Jobs, taxes, and the deficit.

Forget the women’s vote. Forget equity, forget the environment, forget foreign policy. That’s all we’re going to hear and see.

And the reality is that Romney/Ryan can’t offer us anything to address those three that isn’t boilerplate “trickle down.” More tax cuts, higher deficits, and the promise that jobs will magically appear as a result of the first to address the second.
