Internet is not different from any other medium when it comes to credibility. Something printed on dead wood does not make it more credible.

Something printed on dead wood… hasn’t been altered since the moment it was printed. Photoshop, if it happened, could only have been done by whoever originally produced the document. On the internet, there could be any number of alterations by any number of people.
