Didn’t mean to offend you personally. Of course there is legitimate opposition of Obama among Southern whites.

But I’m getting sick of people saying “it’s a tiny minority!” when it comes to birthers, racists, etc.

It’s not a tiny minority, and polls have shown that in the South, it’s a majority.

You don’t need to find it. I made no claim that it was a “tiny minority”. I simply said there are some of us who do NOT fit the mold. I’m familiar with the poll you are looking for, and had a discussion with Iceweasel and Keith Gabreylski and someone else one day about that poll. It appeared to me the southern sample used was disproportionately high. No matter; it is true that there are many in the south who are racist.

But a am also wondering what you think is the basis for opposition to Obama among whites in other areas of the country.
