OK….I’ve used the nicotine transdermal patch before, and I’m using it again now. It was 20 years ago when I initially stopped smoking, and I curse myself for starting again. But I’m going to change that.

Anyway, the patch gives you weird dreams. For instance, overnight I dreamed that I woke up, and went to the kitchen and my roomate Tommy was there.

Tommy Shaw. As in Tommy Shaw from Styx.

Then Dennis DeYoung came in, and pretty soon James Young as well, and James made breakfast. We all shot the bull about the new album - apparently, I was the new drummer.

I haven’t thought about Styx since I was 15 or something. Very odd.
