Yes, rich people buy expensive things. But they’re not buying a new yacht every month, and all that expensive food can no doubt be bought in a fashion that avoids the majority of the sales tax. If there’s anything the rich of this nation know how to do well, it’s avoid taxes like the fucking plague.
