It seems Charles is comparing apples and oranges.

The macro-evolution of single celled organisms evolving into humans is not the same as the micro-evolution of changing viruses. The flu virus has not evolved into a different species. It is still the flu.

What stops ‘microevolution’ from becoming ‘macroevolution?’
