Woman allegedly holds boyfriend hostage, tortures him over suspected infidelity

A Central California woman was behind bars Tuesday after allegedly holding her boyfriend hostage and torturing him because she believed he was cheating on her.

Deputies arrested Sabrina Renee Robinson, 33, on the morning of June 16 just outside Fresno as she hid in a bedroom inside a home that belongs to her boyfriend, whose name is being withheld by the Madera County Sheriff’s Department.

Moments before entering the home, deputies had found the boyfriend naked, beaten and hiding in bushes on the property.

Deputies have since pieced together what appears to be “a case of a woman scorned,” said Erica Stuart, a Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman. “Hell hath no fury.”
