Have you an idea of how many of your tax dollars went to creating and eventually destroying the weapons you describe? The bullet/gas distinction is negligible in the face of the kill/don’t kill decision. If we go in heavy we are going to kill a lot more than 1000 Syrians, some of them children, and I’m a lot more worried about what we do than what they do.
