The troubling thing is Drumpfskind is over-performing in KY. He really strummed their strings.

I was working in Lexington, wanted to stay in Lexington, loved that area, but it was a two-year gig. I had lost a job bid in Murray (and now sigh a breath of relief) and in Berea (wanted that job, but a tough area). But the truth is, I really loved Kentucky. I hope Kentuckians get some good governance in the near future.
