It looks like Ida is going to be Biden’s Katrina. You can be sure that no matter how well the Administration responds, Fox News will report that it was a catastrophic failure, and the mainstream media will play along.

I dunno: I’m sure the RWNM will do their damndest to magnify the slightest misstep or inadequacy in hurricane relief for Ida into THE WORST DISASTER EVER AND IT’S ALL JOE BIDEN’S FAULT!!! - but I have to wonder how well that line is going to play outside the Bubble? Ever since Katrina, every President (even the slacking FG) has been cognizant of the bad press - never mind the damage and casualties - poor emergency preparation can engender, and done (at least something) to avoid or mitigate the effects of another Katrina. And made sure the public was aware of those efforts. Joe aBiden and his people, in general, seem to know what they’re doing: and, just as importantly, make sure The Media know that.
Yeah, the wingers are going to jump on any fault and try to make hay off it, but it’s likely to have little impact outside the goober base.
