I just wish someone knew what to DO about it. Aside from voting the bastards out, which clearly the hicks over in Wisconsin have no intention of doing, there’s no third-party enforcement mechanism to sit the Republicans down and say, “Do your goddamn jobs or get tossed.”

The main problem is that the Wisconsin Supreme Court has elected justices, and currently has a conservative majority, despite SC elections supposedly being ‘non partisan’ (as in not by party nomination). So barring the replacement of one of the conservative justices on the court, the GOP basically holds court in everything except the Governorship, which they’ve wholly defanged until the next time the GOP wins the seat, by which they’ll decide that the executive branch deserves more power because Calvinball rules.

And we notably have a USSC about to give the GOP all the unicorns it ever wanted, so….yeah.
