Conservatives have a weird obsession with this minor case. (Minor with regard to national events, that is.)

Just imagine the dynamic if a black man with a gun had gotten out of a car and killed a lighter-skinned young man under the exact same circumstances. I have a gut feeling the rhetoric would be just a TAD different.

I don’t really know who’s guilty here; I do have a good feeling what the public reaction would be, though, if the races were reversed.
