I still need to finish planting my quinoa then clear out a spot for borlotti beans. My goal this year is to not have the neighborhood’s tallest dandelion. I’ll be happy with second of third place.

My goal this summer was to not have to do all the mowing and weed spraying ,, BUT, ,, my son just told me he’s spending the summer at a friends apartment up near school where he just got a job offer. He’ll come home “some weekends” to help me out (says he) but I’m sure they’ll mostly be spent going to see old friends at night and sleeping all day!!
