I think in my first stage of weight loss, I was petrified of weight gain so I underate. Now I think I have found a happy medium. I hardly ever drink soda anymore though. Had one fountain iced tea with dinner last night and then had water the rset of the night. I still do like my coffee and tea very sweet though but I only require one cup of day tops.
Giving up soda caused me to shed a lot of weight early on. Now I drink about a gallon of water a day and keep sweet drinks to a glass of Orange Juice with breakfast, a container of coconut water for lunch and sugar/creamer in my coffee. I’ll occasionally have a soda. I was maintaining my weight up until about 6 weeks ago when I decided to try and lose a bit more, ended up dropping around 10 lbs to get to 195.
