I have a very old great Aunt who is over 100 now. Her married name is Mary Dorr, she was a very young girl about 6 who came to America on the Carpathia on the voyage when the Carpathia picked up some of the Titanic survivors out of rowboats. About 8 or 10 years back at a family reunion she told the horrible story of how she watched as some of the survivors were thrown back in the water because they were men who shouldn’t have been in the rowboats in the first place..
