Well, I am already assuming Christie’s denials are lies. It will be interesting to see if this can be proven.

Even if he’s totally honest, that he had no idea the plot was happening, there still remains the possibility that he gave his staff the impression that this something he wanted to happen. If they acted off what they felt was an implied mission to fuck shit up in Fort Lee, then he bears responsibility for their actions.
