And values may change. But basic respect for the humanity of others doesn’t, whether you agree with them or not, and women have been on the receiving end of hate, including self-hate, for far too long by idealizing the male perspective in all areas of our lives, to one degree or another, whether political, social, economic. It’s a survival tactic only because we haven’t access to the tools to do otherwise, except slowly and incrementally, depending on where we are in the world, and even then, sometimes merely step into the shoes of men.

I want more men to think like women, and not vice versa.
