Not in his mind. Also since it was a small workshop of about 12 employees he might have been legally allowed to discriminate. I never explored my legal options or made a big deal out of it. He was a self proclaimed socialist who didn’t pay a living wage or the legally required over time pay. Lived in a large mansion on 5 acres and spent absurd amounts of money on very ugly modern art. I decided I was better off self employed.
