Right wing outlets are going all-in on “it’s nothing serious” such as Alex Jones, Rush, and FOX News Channel.

The propaganda orders have been issued, and the prelates and priests of the conservative faith are out to tell them their god (Trump) or the god he outranks (the Christian god) will save them.

They guy at work I argue about politics with - but have pleasant conversations about math - is trying to buy into that reasoning because the precautions for preventing transmission are the same for both. I told him, though, that there’s currently one major distinction: We have a vaccine for the flu. I also told him that the mortality rate is much higher. He didn’t quite believe that, but hopefully I’ve planted a seed to make him go look.
