More people living on coasts and lulled into a sense of complacency because last year was a slow storm year with no major storms coming ashore the US coasts. Places like the Middle Atlantic are overdue for a major storm hit.

You would think people in Florida would be ready for storms. Nope. If one gets close the stores are packed with people getting water, canned goods, etc. Idiots.
