I convinced the husband that it was ok to have an accountant do the taxes for us again this year, so two weeks ago I got all the paperwork together and scanned and then mailed him a DVD of it. Now waiting for the verdict on what the numbers will be.

I could have done it myself but a) although I am unemployed I have been busy working on that project and b) if I manage some level of successful self-employment in the next several months, I want the ability to dump all the tax issues on someone else’s lap.

I’m glad I caught you. I know you were part of the deep conversation we were having last night, and I don’t know if you read the rest of this thread. Things took a good turn with Mrs. Fish last night and I think we’ll be okay.
