Hey, jogging ain’t for sissies. I was in the woods on Saturday and encountered a passive-aggressive tree root. Result: 12 stitches in my face, various scrapes and contusions, and a new pair of glasses coming up. I’m fine, really, you just dont want to see my face for the next week or two. (Also, I am thankful that I am healthy enough to have these problems!)

BTW the two dogs with me (a Jack Russell & a Russell/Beagle mix) were great: stopped and waited quietly, and gently escorted me back down to the car. Urgent care was also excellent, coming in as I did before the Saturday night rush. The sky is blue, the sun is shining, and Hillary is winning.

That’s part of why I do my running on a track, but the track I use has the passive-aggressive tree root problem. But, as you said, ‘The sky is blue, the sun is shining, and Hillary is winning’, so no problem today.
