I remember asking around sometime between Election Day and innaguration which one of our allies Hussein Dolt would sell out first and foremost.

The ones I came up with were Colombia (given to Chavez on a silver platter), Ukraine (given to Putin on a silver platter) Taiwan (given to the ChiComs on a silver platter) and Turkey (Islamic theocracy usurps government a-la Iran 1979).

GWB made great progress with Colombia, something never mentioned, ready to throw that away. Ukraine is struggling mightily to make a go of it, we could use a friend in that neighborhood. Taiwan has always had that Sword of Damocles hanging over them, they don’t need us sawing on the thread. Turkey is a emerging as a major economic and political power, not wise to alienate what could be a key Islamic ally.
