For employment purposes a birth certificate can only be used in combination with other approved documents.

Passport’s the only 100% document.

The reason a birth certificate isn’t is that it doesn’t prove that you are the person to whom the certificate was issued.

Like I said, my birth certificate is 2 names out of date and even if it had a picture, I don’t look 3 days old anymore.
