It’s highly unlikely that a Democratic administration would be both this incompetent and this corrupt. Democrats actually believe in governing — even corrupt ones tend to have competent people in most departments

As we’ve seen that can be a disadvantage. In a Democratic administration, any one of these would have generated massive, nearly unending coverage by the media. The unending stream of bullshit tsunamis generated by the Trump administration means that each scandal gets relatively shallow coverage and is scoured from the media when the next fecal wave arrives.
